As someone marching in with the boom that day, I have to say this was one of the greatest moments in the history of HBCU bands. This made the game so hype. I just wish SU would have stayed after the game for the fifth.
Dr. Greggs and Dr. Haymer wrote every 4/4 arrangement in 6/8 time! No other band director "duplicated" that! Only the " Dolls" could keep up with that dance tempo!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
All the way in 2024 and this shit is still Raw. Man I miss this shit. I shoulda went to college. Im 23 and still could and it was between JSU or Miles but my scholarship got ruined. This is LIFE.

11:45 dude took a pic of the obnoxious pig mad about his life working sporting events at hbcus 😂 where is that picture at now today? 😭🤣
🎉
The flag line was amazing
Them fiberglass tubas eating nice deep tone
Dang. Classic Edwin Harrell Hampton style. Showmanship and musicianship.
To say the least, they sound good and clean. Everything is being played in format. Southern University’s sound quality is very professional.😮
I remember that ESPN 2 logo
after watching this version then others from recent years its clear the Jukes of the earlier years just had more power IJS
Them trombones whipping on 8 is fierce.
❤❤❤❤
Yall were very good back then ❤
This is the type of bands we're missing today
46 😴 Muhahahahahahahahaha 😂

The 90’s was the most amazing period in the history of the planet 🎉
Back in the days when drill numbers consist of 5 songs transitioning into one😂. 💪🏾💯 those were the days.
The J-Settes looked GOOD. Clean as hell.
YES SIR!!!!🦾🦾🦾🦾
Baby they were DANCING.
One of my favorite songs that SU plays
Legendary

that raid joint is my ish wish they can bring that back
that chuck rock was hittin
Legendary 🔥
We were coming thru like soldiers. I remember this like yesterday.
*_[[Sixteen years later]]_* Still (arguably) SU’s best “ballad” band ever. If it ain’t ‘95, ‘08 or ‘11, I want what you smokin’🤷🏽♂️
This is one of my favorites SU plays and never gets old 🔥 🔥 🔥
I miss this
The level of cleanliness you have to play with for your sound to echo like its a brick wall in front of you
Horrible
Most exciting time of my life was being on the field with my band of brothers. Miss you Doc, Chester…thanks for the cherish memories.
